Hey loyal Little Planet readers! Walleroo here. Thanks for all your super suggestions on the "Flower Fight in the Forest." That was a tough one to settle! You'll be pleased to know that Porky and Donk are good friends again. They couldn't have done it without you!

Porky and Donk found a way to share the flowers. First they stopped arguing and took a moment to "cool down." When they looked around them, they realized that there were millions of flowers in the forest! There were plenty of flowers for Donk to eat, for Porky to give to his mother, and lots left over for all the other Little Planet creatures to enjoy!

That's true about most things in life. Whether it's toys, books, dress-up clothes, pizza or ice cream, there's usually enough to go around, or at least to take turns enjoying. Fighting over things takes time away from having fun!

Parents & Teachers HomePage Submit Work Site Map Porky and Donk really appreciated your helpful thoughts. When Bradley said sharing is a "life skill that everyone should practice," they agreed. They promised each other that they would keep practicing! Robert helped them to see that there were indeed "plenty of flowers to go around," and like Brittany and Madison suggested, they should even "leave some for others." We all took James' idea to heart. James was in favor of practicing "cooperation, friendship and caring." He thought Porky should help Donk pick enough flowers to eat, and Donk should help Porky pick flowers for his mom's birthday. And that's exactly what they did! You readers and writers are amazing! Keep up the good work! We will always need your help solving our Little Planet problems!

Thanks for your great letters! Keep writing!
